We have over 40 trained and inducted volunteers who all play a key role in providing our guests with high quality support. There are a range of ways volunteers support the project. Volunteers covering regular shifts will spend time with guests, help make meals and  carry out the various tasks to help look after the accommodation. Community support volunteers provide befriending and coaching to enable rough sleepers to move positively forward with their lives. Fundraising volunteers carry out various fundraising activities for the project.

Volunteering at Tabor

Our Hospitality Volunteers cover all of the key day-to-day tasks involved at Tabor Living. This includes welcoming our guests, preparing food and drinks, organising beds, and cleaning.

We have daytime, evening and overnight shifts 7 days a week.

Community Support Volunteers

Our Community Support volunteers are matched to a guest and provide befriending and coaching to enable them to move forward with their lives.

Tabor Living takes a strength-based approach to mentoring across its project sites; seeking to build on the skills and passions that guests have.

We ask for a weekly commitment, hours are flexible.
