Tabor Living relies on the kindness of Birmingham’s corporate community to help us deliver the level of service and support that we do.
Our Management Committee is made up of professionals from the construction, education, marketing, and finance sectors. Overseen and supported by Father Hudson’s Care, the Tabor Living Management Committee has already done am incredible job in establishing, managing and developing Tabor House, Tabor Cottage, and now working on our new St Catherine’s project.
Since opening in 2017, we’ve helped over 100 individuals, with a 75% success rate of helping people into permanent accommodation and employment.
It costs over £200,000 a year to run our projects, and we rely on charitable grants and private donations from the public, schools, and community and religious groups. In addition to the local business community.
Our Sponsor-A-Bed initiative gives you a tangible way to help people with a hand-up, not just a hand-out. Join our network of Midlands-based businesses to deliver our collective vision to eliminate homelessness in our city of Birmingham.
For £5,000 per year, your business will sponsor one of the 11 beds across Tabor House and Tabor Cottage. As a sponsor, you know that your money will go directly to the running cost of that bed for a year, including the 1-2-1 strength-based mentoring programme and employment support that the individual will receive.
In return, your business will be listed as a supporter of Tabor Living, with a profile on our website and logo placed within Tabor House itself. We are also looking at ways that we can work with our Sponsor-A-Bed supporters throughout the year, including press coverage, events, site visits, and more.
Join our list of existing sponsors, which includes BS Eaton, EH Smith, Friel Construction, M. Lambe Construction, Nash Glass, Tippers, and Zone Contractors.
